MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure, and in pursuance of section 5 of the Growth Centres (Development Corporations) Act 1974, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to amend Schedule 1 to the Growth Centres (Development Corporations) Act 1974 to dissolve the Cooks Cove Development Corporation and to establish certain land at Cooks Cove as a growth centre for which the UrbanGrowth NSW Development Corporation is responsible.
This Order is made under section 5 of the Growth Centres (Development Corporations) Act

1974.

1 Name of Order

This Order is the Growth Centres (Development Corporations)
Amendment (Cooks Cove Growth Centre) Order 2013.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Growth Centres (Development Corporations) Act 1974 No 49

(1) Schedule 1 Growth centres and development corporations

Omit the matter relating to Cooks Cove Development Corporation.

Insert at the end of Column 2 of the matter relating to UrbanGrowth NSW Development Corporation:

All those pieces or parcels of land identified by yellow shading on the map entitled “Cooks Cove growth centre”, published on the website of the UrbanGrowth NSW Development Corporation.
