Rules of the Greyhound Racing Control Board Amendment 1996

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has approved the following Rule made by the Greyhound Racing Control Board under the Greyhound Racing Control Board Act 1985.

Explanatory note

The Greyhound Racing Control Board charges various fees. The object of this Rule is to amend the Rules of the Greyhound Racing Control Board 1994 with effect from 1 August 1996:

(a)	to increase the fee for the registration and naming of a greyhound from $25 to $27,
(b)	to increase the fee for the transfer of a named greyhound from $6 to $10,
(c)	to increase the fee for the recording of a lease of a greyhound from $6 to $10.

Those Rules are also amended to do the following with effect from 1 April

1997:

(a)	to increase the fee for the registration of a person as an owner of a greyhound from $32 to $36,
(b)	to increase the fee for the registration of a person as the trainer of a greyhound from $64 to $70.

This Rule is made under the Greyhound Racing Control Board Act 1985, including section 10 (2) (m).

Amendment 1996

The Greyhound Racing Control Board, in pursuance of section 10 of the

Greyhound Racing Control Board Act 1985, makes the following Rule:

1 Name of Rule

This Rule is the Rules of the Greyhound Racing Control Board

Amendment 1996.

2 Commencement

(1)	This Rule commences on 1 August 1996, except as provided by subclause (2).
(2)	Schedule 1 [l] and [2] commence on 1 April 1997.

3 Amendment of Rules of the Greyhound Racing Control Board

1994

The Rules of the Greyhound Racing Control Board 1994 are amended as set out in Schedule 1.

4 Notes

The explanatory note does not form part of this Rule.
