1 Name
This instrument is the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Registration Fees) Instrument (No. 1) 2022.
2 Commencement
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3 Authority
This instrument is made under section 8 of the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Registration Fees) Act 2012.
4 Interpretation
(1) Unless the contrary intention appears, words and expressions used in this instrument have the same meaning as given in the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards Act 2012 and the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Registration Fees) Act 2012.
(2) The descriptions in column 4 of Schedule 2 are a generic description of the products covered by the GEMS Determinations listed in column 3 of Schedule 2. They are provided for ease of reference only. Whether a model is covered by a GEMS Determination is determined by the relevant GEMS determination listed in column 3 of Schedule 2.
5 Fees
Column 2 of Schedule 2 sets out the registration fees specified for registration applications in relation to models of GEMS products covered by the GEMS determinations listed in column 3 of Schedule 2.
6 Schedules
(1)Each instrument that is specified in Schedule 1 to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule, and any other item in Schedule 1 to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
(2) Schedule 2 sets out the registration fees payable in accordance with section 5 of this instrument.
