1Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Greater Cities Commission Regulation 2022.

2Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3Definition

In this Regulation—

the Act means the Greater Cities Commission Act 2022.

Note—

The Act and the Interpretation Act 1987 contain definitions and other provisions that affect the interpretation and application of this Regulation.

4Amendment of Greater Cities Commission Act 2022 No 8(1)

Insert after section 2(n)—

Sutherland Shire,

Omit the paragraph.

5Savings provision relating to Sutherland Shire—the Act, s 4(1)

The South District Plan continues to apply as a district strategic plan to land within the local government area of Sutherland Shire until a district strategic plan is made for the Eastern Harbour City.

district strategic plan has the same meaning as in the Planning Act, Division 3.1.
