1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Great Lakes Local Environmental Plan 2014 (Amendment No 6).

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

This Plan applies to the land to which Great Lakes Local Environmental Plan 2014 applies.

4      Maps

The maps adopted by Great Lakes Local Environmental Plan 2014 are amended or replaced, as the case requires, by the maps approved by the Minister on the making of this Plan.

5 Amendment of Great Lakes Local Environmental Plan 2014

Clause 7.3 Flood planning

Omit the definition of flood planning level from clause 7.3 (6). Insert instead:

flood planning level means:

(a)	in areas where flooding is affected by ocean water levels—the level of a 1% AEP (annual exceedance probability) flood event estimated using an ocean water level 0.9 metres above the 1990 mean sea level, plus a 0.5 metre freeboard, or
(b)	in all other areas—the level of a 1% AEP (annual exceedance probability) flood event plus a 0.5 metre freeboard.
