I, the Minister for Planning, make the following local environmental plan under the

Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Great Lakes Local Environmental Plan 2014 (Amendment No 17).

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

This Plan applies to the following land at Hawks Nest:

(a)

certain land generally bounded by Tuloa Avenue and Yamba and Booner Streets, including the following land:

(i)

Lots A and B, DP 380119,

(ii)

part of Lot 1, DP 798549,

(iii)

part of Lot 70, DP 1125455,

(iv)

Lots 66–69, 78 and 80–90, DP 16379,

(b)

certain land generally bounded by Beach Road and Booner, Margaret and Mirreen Streets, including the following land:

(i)

Lot 2, DP 1036383,

(ii)

Lot 1, DP 834977,

(iii)

Lots 2, 4, 17, 18, 23–25, 27, 39, 41 and 48–50, DP 18915,

(iv)

Lots 423 and 424, DP 519122,

(v)

Lot 1, DP 1045581,

(vi)

SP 34479, SP 38529, SP 22389, SP 67542, SP 48858, SP 46669, SP 42243, SP 72893, SP 38151, SP 65045, SP 82361, SP 21057, SP 55988, SP 58396, SP 54635, SP 77721, SP 19308, SP 78343, SP 39728, SP 18307, SP 51840 and SP 37600.

4      Maps

The maps adopted by Great Lakes Local Environmental Plan 2014 are amended or replaced, as the case requires, by the maps approved by the Minister on the making of this Plan.

Schedule 1

Amendment of Great Lakes Local Environmental

Plan 2014

[1]      Clause 1.2 Aims of Plan

Omit “Great Lakes” from clause 1.2 (1).

Insert instead “that part of the Mid-Coast local government area to which this Plan applies

(in this Plan referred to as Great Lakes)”.

[2]      Schedule 1 Additional permitted uses

Insert after clause 7:

8      Use of certain land bounded by Beach Road and Booner, Margaret and Mirreen Streets, Hawks Nest

(1)

This clause applies to land identified as “8” on the Additional Permitted Uses

Map.

(2)

Development for the purposes of multi dwelling housing is permitted with

development consent.
