1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Great Lakes Local Environmental Plan 1996 (Amendment

No 82).

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

This Plan applies to certain land at Pacific Palms and, in particular, to:

(a)

Lot B, DP 363483, Lot 23, DP 537919, Lots 13–16, DP 793710, Lot 113, DP 103145, Lot 10, DP 633645, Lot 1, DP 862876, Lots 2 and 3, DP 828932, Lot 427, DP 753168, Lot 83, DP 861736 and Lots A and B, DP 418473, being land off Boomerang Drive, and

(b)

Lots 1–5, DP 811686, being land off Red Gum Road.

Protection of wildlife corridors at Pacific Palms

Objective of Provision

The objective of this provision is to ensure that proper regard is given to wildlife corridors in carrying out development on land to which this clause applies.

Protection of wildlife corridors

(1)

This clause applies to Lot B, DP 363483, Lot 23, DP 537919, Lots 13–16, DP 793710, Lot 113, DP 103145, Lot 10, DP 633645, Lot 1, DP 862876, Lots 2 and 3, DP 828932, Lot 427, DP 753168, Lot 83, DP 861736 and Lots A and B, DP 418473 (Boomerang Drive) and Lots 1–5, DP 811686 (Red Gum Road), Pacific Palms.

(2)

Development consent must not be granted to development on land to which this clause applies unless the consent authority is satisfied that:

(a)

any wildlife corridors will be maintained (or regenerated where necessary) to ensure their continued protection, and

(b)

the development will not negatively impact on any wildlife corridor (whether directly or indirectly).
