Great Barrier Reef Marine Park

Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Act 1975.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2.   Regulation 19d (Permission deemed to remain in force)

2.1   Subregulation 19d (1):

After paragraph (1) (b), insert:

“; and (c) the application has not been withdrawn”.

3.   Regulation 28 (Fees)

3.1   Subregulation 28 (1):

Omit “an activity in the Marine Park for the purposes of tourism or for a purpose connected with tourism”, substitute “an activity of a commercial nature in the Marine Park”.
