BE it enacted by the K i n g ' s Most Exce l len t Majesty, by and wi th

t h e advice and consent of the Legis la t ive Counci l and Legislat ive Assembly of N e w South

Wales

in P a r l i a m e n t assembled, and by the

au tho r i t y of t he same, as follows :—

1. This A c t may be cited as the " Grass-tree Licenses Act ,

1 9 0 8 . "
2. The Minis te r m a y issue special l icenses to confer upon the holders thereof t he r ight to cu t or obta in and remove the common grass- tree (xan thor r laea ) on or from t imber reserves, forest reserves, or Crown lands not unde r least; or license, unless w i th the consent of t he lessee or licensee, or any specified areas thereof, upon such t e rms and condit ions a n d subject to the p a y m e n t of such fees or royalt ies

a n d for such period as t h e Minis te r may t h i n k fit.

The Minis te r m a y cancel or suspend any such license for any

reason he m a y t h i n k lit.
3. The Governor may m a k e regula t ions to ca r ry th is A c t in to
