Grain Marketing Repeal Act 2010

An Act to repeal the Grain Marketing Act 2002 and to make a consequential amendment.

[Assented to 25 August 2010]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Grain Marketing Repeal Act 2010

s. 1

1.             Short title

This is the Grain Marketing Repeal Act 2010.

2.             Commencement

This Act comes into operation as follows —

(a)	sections 1 and 2 — on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent;
(b)	the rest of the Act — on a day fixed by proclamation.

3.             Act repealed

The Grain Marketing Act 2002 is repealed.

4. Constitution Acts Amendment Act 1899 amended

(1)

This section amends the Constitution Acts Amendment Act 1899.

In Schedule V Part 3 delete “The Grain Licensing Authority

appointed under the Grain Marketing Act 2002.”.
