Grain Legumes Levy Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Grain Legumes Levy Act 1985.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 January 1993.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Grain Legumes Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 4 (Prescribed seeds for purposes of the definition of “leviable grain legumes” in subsection 4 (1) of the Act)

3.1   Omit “and Phaseolus vulgaris”, substitute “, Phaseolus vulgaris, Lens culinaris, Vicia sativa, Vigna unguiculata and Vigna vexillata.”.

4.   Regulation 5 (Rate prescribed for the purposes of section 7 of the Act)

4.1   Omit the regulation.
