An Act to make provision for an increase in the salary of the Governor of New South Wales; to amend the Governor's Salary Act, 1901, and the Constitu­ tion Act, 1902; and for purposes connected therewith. [Reserved, 2nd May, 1973.] BE

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative	Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: —

1. This Act may be cited as the "Governor's Salary

(Amendment) Act, 1973".

2 .     This Act shall be deemed to have commenced on 1st

April, 1973.

1. The Governor's Salary Act, 1901, is amended by omit­

ting from section 2 (1) the words "twenty-three thousand"

and by inserting instead the words "thirty thousand".
