22 QltrPnslan^ ANNO SEXTO DECIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 6 of 1968 An Act to Amend "The Governor's Salary Acts, 1872 to 1965," in a certain particular [RESERVED: HER MAJESTY'S ASSENT PROCLAIMED: 4TH APRIL, 1968] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. (1) Short title. This Act may be cited as "The Governor's Salary Acts Amendment Act of 1968." (2) Principal Act . " The Governor's Salary Acts, 1872 to 1965," are in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) Collective title. The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively cited as " The Governor's Salary Acts, 1872 to 1968."
The Governor ' s Salary Acts Amendment Act of 1968, No. 6 23 2. Repeal of and new s. 4A. The Principal Act is amended by repealing section 4A and inserting in its stead the following section:- " [4A.] Amount of salary . The salary of the Governor of Queensland shall be, and it is hereby declared always was to be, on and after the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and sixty-seven, at the rate of eighteen thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars per annum. Such salary shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund which is hereby appropriated accordingly."
