Section six of *" The Officials in Parliament AmendmentsActs, 1896 to 1949," is amended as follows:- ~o~ ~~ ic. (a) The words "two thousand seven hundred" are repealed and the words "three thousand and twenty-five" are insertedin lieu of those repealed words. (b) The words "two thousand two hundred and fifty" are repealed and the words "two thousand five hundred and seventy-five" are inserted in lieu of those repealed words. (c) The words" twenty-five thousand five hundred" are repealed and the words" twenty-nine thousand and seventy-five" are inserted in lieu of those repealed words. 15 N G o E . O2. 1V. I. An Act to Amend "The Governor's Salary Acts, THE GOVERNOR'S 1872 to 1949," in a certain particular. SALARY AOTS AMENDMENT ACT OF 1951. [RESERVED: HIS MAJESTY'S ASSENT PROCLAIMED: 16TH APRIL, 1951.J -BE it enacted by the King's J\'Iost Excellent .Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative .Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- Short title and con- struction. Collective title. 1. This Act may be cited as "The Governor's Salary Acts Amendment Act of 1951," and shall be read as one with t" The Governor's Salary Acts, 1872 to 1949," herein referred to as the Principal Act. The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively cited as " The Governor's Salary Acts, 1872 to 1951." Repeal of and new B.4A. Amount of salary. 2. Section 4A of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section is inserted in lieu thereof, namely:- " [4A.] The salary of the Governor of Queensland shall be, and it is hereby declared always was to be, on and after the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifty, at the rate of three thousand eight hundred and fifty pounds per annum. Such salary shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund which is hereby appropriated accordingly." * 60 V. No. 3 and amending Acts. t 36V. No. 9 and amending Act.
