ANNO VICESIMO QUARTO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 1 of 1976 An Act to amend the Governor's Salary Act 1872-1973 in a certain particular [RESERVED: HER MAJESTY'S ASSSENT PROCLAIMED 19TH FEBRUARY, 1976] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled , and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Governor's Salary Act Amendment Act 1976. (2) The Governor's Salary Act 1872-1973 as amended by this Act may be cited as the Governor's Salary Act1872-1976.

2 Governor ' s Salary Act Amendment Act 1976, No. I 2. Repeal of and new s. 4A. The Governor's Salary Act1872-1973 is amended by repealing section 4A and substituting the following section:- ,, 4A. Amount of salary . The salary of the Governor of Queensland shall be, and it is hereby declared always was to be on and after the first day of July, 1975, at the rate of $50 000 per annum. Such salary shall be charged upon and be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, which is hereby appropriated accordingly.".
