(1) This Act may be cited as the Governor's Salary Act Amendment Act 1973. (2) The Governor's Salary Act 1872-1971 as amended by this Act may be cited as the Governor's Salary Act1872-1973.

Governor's Salary Act Amendment Act 1973, No. 43 443 2. Repeal of and new s. 4A . The Governor's Salary Act1872-1971 is amended by repealing section 4A and inserting in its stead the following section:- ,, 4A. Amount of Salary. The salary of the Governor of Queensland shall be, and it is hereby declared always was to be on and after the first day of April 1973, at the rate of thirty-five thousand dollars per annum. Such salary shall be charged upon and be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, which is hereby appropriated accordingly.".
