ANNO VICESIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 1 of 1971 An Act to Amend the Governor's Salary Acts 1872 to 1968 in a certain particular [Reserved: Her Majesty's Assent Proclaimed, 18th March, 1971] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Governor's Salary Act Amendment Act 1971. (2) The Governor's Salary Act of 1872 as amended from time to time is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be collectively cited as the Governor's Salary Act1872-1971.
2 Governor 's Salary Act Amendment Act 1971, No. I 2. Repeal of and new s. 4A. Section 4A of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section is inserted in its stead:- " 4A. Amount of salary . The salary of the Governor of Queensland shall be, and it is hereby declared always was to be, on and after the first-day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seventy, at the rate of twenty-two thousand dollars per annum. Such salary shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund which is hereby appropriated accordingly."
