Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Governor's Salary Act Amendment Act 1971 (No. 2). (2) The Governor's Salary Act 1872-1971 as amended by this Act may be collectively cited as the Governor's Salary Act1872-1971.

Governor 's Salary Act Amendment Act (No. 2) 1971, No. 34 531 2. Repeal of and new s. 4A. The Governor's Salary Act1872-1971 is amended by repealing section 4A and inserting in its stead the following section:- " 4A. Amount of salary. The salary of the Governor of Queensland shall be at the rate of twenty-six thousand five hundred dollars per annum. Such salary shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, which is hereby appropriated accordingly.".
