An Act to make other provision for t he Salary of the Governor of New South W a l e s ; and for the salaries of his staff; and to amend the Const i tu t ion Act. [4th November, 1901.]

BE it enacted by the K i n g ' s Most Exce l l en t Majesty, by and

with t he advice and consent of t he Legislative; Council and Legis la t ive Assembly of

New South Wales in

P a r l i a m e n t

assembled,

and by the au tho r i t y of t he same, as follows :—

1.    This Ac t may be cited as the " Governor ' s Salary Ac t , 1 9 0 1 . "

2. (1) The a n n u a l a m o u n t payable for t he salary of any

Governor of New South W a l e s hereafter to be appointed shall be live

thousand pounds .
(2) The following a n n u a l amoun t s shall be payable in respect

of the members of t h e staff of any such Governor , n a m e l y —

Governor 's pr ivate secre ta ry—Three hund red and fifty pounds .

Governor 's a ide-de-camp—Three hund red and fifty pounds .

(3) Such a n n u a l a m o u n t s are hereby pe rmanen t ly appro­

pr ia ted for t he above services.

(4) For t he purpose of t h e above provisions Schedule A to t h e Const i tu t ion Ac t is amended by subs t i tu t ing the figures 5,000 for t he figures 7,000, and the figures 350 for t h e figures 100 in t h a t Schedule .
