An Act for fixing the Salary of future Governors
of New South Wales. [Reserved—14:th June, 1844.]
| intituled " An Act for the Government of New South Wales and Van Diemen's Land" it is enacted that until altered by any Bill passed by the Legislative Council of New South Wales created by the said recited Act and assented to by Her said Majesty the Salary of the Governor of New South Wales shall be that set against his office in the Schedule marked A to the said recited Act annexed and whereas it is expedient to alter the said Salary as regards future Governors Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of New South Wales with the advice and consent of the said Legislative Council That the sum of four thousand pounds be the Annual Salary of any Governor of the said Colony appointed after this Act shall have received the Royal Assent. | ANNO |
