This Determination is the Government Sector Employment (Senior Executive Bands) Determination 2014.

2Commencement

This Determination commences on 24 February 2014 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3Public Service senior executive bands

For the purposes of the Government Sector Employment Act 2013, the Public Service senior executive bands are as follows:

  BAND 4—Secretary level

• •

  BAND 3—Deputy Secretary level

• •

  BAND 2—Executive Director level

• •

  BAND 1—Director level

4Application to Public Service senior executives

The Public Service senior executive bands prescribed by this Determination apply to the employment of Public Service senior executives (including Secretaries of Departments and heads of other Public Service agencies who are not statutory officers).

5Application to certain statutory officers and other executives

The Public Service senior executive bands prescribed by this Determination also apply to the employment of statutory officers or other executives to whom the Public Service senior executive bands are applied by the legislation that provides for the employment of the statutory officers or other executives or by Schedule 4 to the Government Sector Employment Act 2013 (or the regulations made under that Schedule).
