Regulation under the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to extend the transitional arrangements for the staff of the Internal Audit Bureau and the SAS Trustee Corporation to continue to be employed under Chapter 1A of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002 despite the repeal of that Act.

This Regulation is made under the Government Sector Employment Act 2013, including section 88 (the general regulation-making power) and clause 2 of Schedule 4 (Savings, transitional and other provisions).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Government Sector Employment Amendment (Transitional
Staff Arrangements) Regulation 2015.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2015 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Schedule 4 to Government Sector Employment Act 2013 No 40

(1) Clause 13A Staff of certain statutory bodies

Omit “1 July 2015” from clause 13A (a). Insert instead “1 July 2016”.

(2) Clause 13A (c)
Omit “1 July 2015”. Insert instead “1 January 2016”.
