Wales in P a r l i a m e n t assembled, and by the au tho r i t y of

t h e same, as follows :—

1. This Ac t may be ci ted as the " G o v e r n m e n t Rai l -

ways ( F u r t h e r A m e n d m e n t ) Act , 1916 . "

1. .      The following section is inser ted n e x t after section

e ight of t h e G o v e r n m e n t Rai lways Act , 1 9 1 2 : —

9. The Commissioners shall respectively receive
salaries not exceeding the following yearly r a t e s : —

The Chief Ra i lway Commissioner for N e w South

Wales , th ree t housand pounds .

The Assistant Ra i lway Commissioner for N e w
South W a l e s appoin ted as depu ty of the said

Chief Ra i lway Commissioner , two thousand

Such salaries are hereby charged upon the Consoli­ da ted R e v e n u e F u n d , and such fund to t h e e x t e n t requi red for t he p a y m e n t of such salaries is hereby

p e r m a n e n t l y appropr ia ted .
