AN ACT to amend the Government Railways

Act, 1904-1967.

[Assented to 5th November, 1970.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Government

Railways Act Amendment Act, 1970.

2.    Section 2 of the principal Act is amended by tonastment

adding, after the interpretation "Goods", an inter- =pre-

pretation as follows—

"Liquor" has the same meaning as it has in

the Liquor Act, 1970; .

3.    Section 23 of the principal Act is amended by tomseigment

substituting for paragraph (25) a paragraph as

follows

(25) Regulating the sale, supply, and consump- tion of liquor in railway refreshment rooms, and on trains, that are under the management or control of the Commission and restricting, to the extent specified in the by-laws, the taking of liquor onto, or the possession of liquor on, any train, or a train specified in the by-laws, that is under such management or control; .
