I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 4 of the Government Procurement Review (International Free Trade Agreements) Act 2019 .12 August 2024

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Government Procurement Review (International Free Trade Agreements) (Relevant Government Agencies) Order 2024. 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3InterpretationIn this order – Act means the Government Procurement Review (International Free Trade Agreements) Act 2019. 4Relevant government agenciesFor the purposes of section 4(1) of the Act, the following entities are declared to be relevant government agencies: (a) Homes Tasmania, established by section 9 of the Homes Tasmania Act 2022; (b) the Macquarie Point Development Corporation, established by section 5 of the Macquarie Point Development Corporation Act 2012. 5Accountable authority of relevant government agenciesFor the purposes of section 4(2) of the Act – (a) the chief executive officer of Homes Tasmania appointed under section 19 of the Homes Tasmania Act 2022 is declared to be the accountable authority of Homes Tasmania; and (b) the chief executive officer of the Macquarie Point Development Corporation appointed under section 15 of the Macquarie Point Development Corporation Act 2012 is declared to be the accountable authority of the Macquarie Point Development Corporation.
