Name of regulation
This regulation is the Government Procurement Amendment Regulation 2012 (No 1).
Commencement
This regulation commences on the commencement of the Government Procurement Amendment Act 2012, section 4.
NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).
Legislation amended
This regulation amends the Government Procurement Regulation 2007.
Section 10 (2), new examples 5 and 6
insert
5 where a secondary objective of the procurement is to achieve an appreciable social or community benefit
6 the procurement is through a common use agreement established in another jurisdiction.
New sections 12A and 12B
insert
12ANotifiable contract threshold—Act, s 25 (2) (a)
The prescribed amount is $25 000.
12BNotifiable amendment threshold—Act, s 26 (a) (ii)
The prescribed amount is $25 000.
