Government Prices Oversight (MAIB Premiums) Amendment Order (No. 3) 2008

I make the following order under section 36 of the Government Prices Oversight Act 1995 .16 September 2008

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Government Prices Oversight (MAIB Premiums) Amendment Order (No. 3) 2008 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which section 3 of the Taxi and Luxury Hire Car Industries Act 2008 commences. 3Principal OrderIn this order, the Government Prices Oversight (MAIB Premiums) Order 2006 is referred to as the Principal Order. 4Schedule 1 amended (Motor Vehicles Class and Maximum Premiums) Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended by omitting item 6 and substituting:

6.  Taxi or Chauffeured Hire Car 1 044

(1) A public passenger vehicle in respect of which a luxury hire car licence is in force under the Taxi and Luxury Hire Car Industries Act 2008 .

(2) A public passenger vehicle that is used or intended to be used as a taxi in accordance with the Taxi and Luxury Hire Car Industries Act 2008 .
