s1 2 s5 Government Owned Corporations (Ports) Amendment (No. 1) No. 267, 1996 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Government Owned Corporations (Ports) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1996. ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Government Owned Corporations (Ports)Regulation 1995 . ˙ Amendment of s 21 (Consideration for transfer of assets to associates) 3. Section 21(7), ‘1 November 1995’— omit, insert — ‘11 October 1996’. ˙ Amendment of s 24 (Bundaberg Port Authority must issue further shares) 4.(1) Section 24, heading, ‘must issue further’— omit . (2) Section 24— insert — ‘ (4) 29 325 450 of the shares issued under subsection (3) are taken to have been cancelled immediately after they were issued.’. ˙ Amendment of s 25 (Cairns Port Authority must issue further shares) 5.(1) Section 25, heading, ‘must issue further’— omit . (2) Section 25— insert — ‘ (4) 2 531 000 of the shares issued under subsection (3) are taken to have been cancelled immediately after they were issued.’.

(2) Section 26— insert — ‘ (4) Mackay Port Authority must issue another 4 923 878 of the shares as soon as it is practicable to issue the shares. ‘ (5) Shares issued under subsection (4) are taken to have been issued when the shares mentioned in subsection (3) were issued.’. ˙ Amendment of s 27 (Rockhampton Port Authority must issue further shares) 7.(1) Section 27, heading, ‘must issue further’— omit . (2) Section 27— insert — ‘ (4) 11 278 806 of the shares issued under subsection (3) are taken to have been cancelled immediately after they were issued.’. ˙ Amendment of s 28 (Townsville Port Authority must issue further shares) 8. Section 28, heading, ‘must issue further’— omit .
