s1 2 s3 Government Owned Corporations Legislation No. 215, 1999 Amendment (No. 2) PART 1—PRELIMINARY ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Government Owned Corporations Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1999 . PART 2—AMENDMENT OF GOVERNMENT OWNED CORPORATIONS (PORTS) REGULATION 1994 ˙ Regulation amended in pt 2 2. This part amends the GovernmentOwnedCorporations(Ports)Regulation 1994 . ˙ Amendment of s 25 (Port of Brisbane Corporation shares) 3. Section 25— insert — ‘ (7) Of the shares issued under subsection (3), a further 1 238 810 are cancelled. ‘ (8) The following applies to the cancellation of the shares under subsection (7)— (a) the cancellation of 730 748 shares is taken to have happened on 5 June 1997; (b) the cancellation of 115 600 shares is taken to have happened on 14 May 1998; (c) the cancellation of 324 144 shares is taken to have happened on 10 December 1998; (d) the cancellation of 68 318 shares is taken to have happened on 4 June 1999.’.

s4 3 s5 Government Owned Corporations Legislation No. 215, 1999 Amendment (No. 2) PART 3—AMENDMENT OF GOVERNMENT OWNED CORPORATIONS (PORTS) REGULATION 1995 ˙ Regulation amended in pt 3 4. This part amends the GovernmentOwnedCorporations(Ports)Regulation 1995 . ˙ Amendment of s 26 (Mackay Port Authority shares) 5. Section 26— insert — ‘ (8) As soon as it is practicable to do so, Mackay Port Authority must— (a) issue another 3 258 306 of the shares; and (b) issue another 2 227 180 of the shares; and (c) issue another 2 514 512 of the shares. ‘ (9) Shares issued— (a) under subsection (8)(a) are taken to have been issued on 20 August 1998; and (b) under subsection (8)(b) are taken to have been issued on 22 September 1998; and (c) under subsection (8)(c) are taken to have been issued on 24 November 1998. ‘ (10) Mackay Port Authority must issue another 2 000 000 of the shares on the day notified by the shareholding Ministers by gazette notice as the day for the shares to be issued.’.
