Part 1 Government Owned Corporations Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2008 Part 1 Preliminary [s 1] Preliminary 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Government Owned Corporations Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2008 . 2 Commencement (1) Part 2 commences on 30 September 2008. (2) Part 3 commences on 1 October 2008. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Government Owned CorporationsRegulation 2004. Part 2 Amendment commencing on 30 September 2008 4 Insertion of new s 17 Part 3, division 4— insert— ‘17 Change of name to QIC ‘(1) On the commencement of this section, Queensland Investment Corporation continues in existence under the name QIC. ‘(2) Subsection (1) does not affect the operation of sections 15 and 16(1).’. 2008 SL No. 320 Page 3
