Government Owned Corporations Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2008 Part 1 Preliminary [s 1] Part 1 Preliminary 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Government Owned Corporations Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2008 . Part 2 Amendment of Government Owned Corporations Regulation 2004 2 Regulation amended in pt 2 This part amends the GovernmentOwnedCorporationsRegulation 2004. 3 Insertion of new s 8A Part 3, division 1— insert — ‘8A Change of name to Cairns Ports ‘(1) On the commencement of this section, Cairns Port Authority continues in existence under the name Cairns Ports. ‘(2) Subsection (1) does not affect the operation of sections 6(2), 7 and 8(1).’. 4 Insertion of new s 11A Part 3, division 2— insert — Page 2 2008 SL No. 56
