s1 2 s5 Government Owned Corporations Amendment No. 220, 1994 (No. 1) ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Government Owned Corporations Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1994 . ˙ Commencement 2.(1) This regulation (other than sections 5 and 7) commences on 1 July 1994. (2) Sections 5 and 7 commence on 2 July 1994. ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the GovernmentOwnedCorporationsRegulation 1993 . ˙ Insertion of new s 5A 4. After section 5— insert— ˙ ‘ Transitional application for certain candidate GOCs ‘ 5A.(1) Despite the replacement of Schedule 1 (Candidate GOCs), the entities that, immediately before 1 July 1994, appeared as items 1 to 3 of Schedule 1 are taken to be included in Schedule 1 until the associates under the GovernmentOwnedCorporations(Ports)Regulation1994 become GOCs. ‘ (2) This section expires at the end of the day on which it commences.’. ˙ Insertion of new s 7 5. After section 6— insert— ˙ ‘ Government entities declared to be GOCs ‘ 7. Each government entity set out in Schedule 3 is a GOC.’.
