Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend Schedule 3 to the Government Information (Public Access) Regulation 2009 to declare that the following bodies are to be regarded as being part of the Department of Services, Technology and Administration for the purposes of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009:

(a) Building Insurers’ Guarantee Corporation,
(b) Fair Trading Administration Corporation,
(c) Motor Vehicle Repair Industry Authority,
(d) New South Wales Government Telecommunications Authority (also known as TELCO),
(e) Rental Bond Board,
(f) Retirement Villages Advisory Council,
(g) State Contracts Control Board.

This Regulation is made under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, including section 129 (the general regulation-making power) and clause 6 of Schedule 4 (Regulations may declare agency to be part of another agency).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Government Information (Public Access)
Amendment (Subsidiary Agencies) Regulation 2011.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.
