The Administrator, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Regulation under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend Schedule 3 to the Government Information (Public Access) Regulation 2009 to declare that the following bodies are to be regarded as being part of the Department of Industry and Investment for the purposes of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009:

(a) the advisory committee established under the Food Act 2003,
(b) the Forestry Commission of New South Wales (also known as Forests NSW),
(c) the Office of the NSW Food Authority,
(d) the New South Wales Film and Television Office (also known as Screen NSW),
(e) the NSW Food Authority,
(f) Tourism New South Wales.

This Regulation is made under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, including section 129 (the general regulation-making power) and clause 6 of Schedule 4 (Regulations may declare agency to be part of another agency).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Government Information (Public Access)
Amendment (Subsidiary Agencies) Regulation 2010.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Government Information (Public Access) Regulation 2009

(1) Schedule 3 Agencies declared to be part of other agencies

Omit the matter relating to the advisory committee established under the

Food Act 2003.

(2) Schedule 3
Insert in alphabetical order under the columns headed “Subsidiary agency” and “Parent agency”, respectively:
