Government Employees’ Housing Authority

Amendment Regulations 2006

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Government Employees’ Housing
Authority Amendment Regulations 2006.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation on —

(a)	if they are published in the Gazette on or before 1 July 2006 — 1 July 2006; or
(b)	if they are published in the Gazette after 1 July 2006 — the day on which they are published in the Gazette.

3.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Government
Employees’ Housing Authority Regulations 1965*.

4.             Regulation 1 amended

Regulation 1 is amended by deleting “Authority”.

5.             Regulation 2 amended

Regulation 2 is amended by deleting the definitions of
“chairperson” and “secretary”.

6.             Regulations 3 and 4 repealed

Regulations 3 and 4 are repealed.

7.             Regulation 6 amended

The form to regulation 6 is amended as follows:

(a)	by deleting “Government Employees’” in the first and third places where it occurs;
(b)	by deleting “Government Employees’ Housing Act 1964” and inserting instead —

“ Housing Act 1980 ”.
