GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES' HOUSING ACT 1964 GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES' HOUSING AUTHORITY

AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1993

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.
Citation
1. These regulations may be cited as the Government Employees Housing Authority
Amendment Regulations 1993.
Principal regulations
2. In these regulations the Government Employees Housing Authority Regulations

1965* are referred to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 2 amended

3. Regulation 2 of the principal regulations is amended—

(a)	by deleting the definition of "secretary"; and
(b)	by inserting the following definitions in their appropriate alphabetical posi-

tions—

" "chairperson" means the person appointed as chairman of the Authority

under section 8 (2) (a) of the Act;

"secretary" means the person for the time being holding the office of

Director of the Authority and includes the Deputy Director. ".

Regulation 4 repealed and a regulation substituted
4. Regulation 4 of the principal regulations is repealed and the following regulation is

substituted—

Common Seal

4.  The Common Seal of the Authority shall not be affixed to a document unless

it is affixed to the document by the secretary in the presence of the chairperson

or in his or her absence another member of the Authority. ".
