An Act to amend the Government Business Enterprises Act 1995

[Royal Assent 9 December 2005]

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Government Business Enterprises Amendment Act 2005 . 2Commencement (1)  Section 4 is taken to have commenced on 27 November 2002. (2)  The remaining provisions of this Act commence on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. 3Principal ActIn this Act, the Government Business Enterprises Act 1995 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 35 amended (Premiums for certain liabilities of officers) Section 35(1)(b)(ii) of the Principal Act is amended by omitting " section 24 (3) or (4) " and substituting " section 24(6) or (7) ". 5Section 57 amended (Quarterly reports) Section 57(2) of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (a) and substituting the following paragraph: (a) within the period specified in the Treasurer’s Instructions; or 6Schedule 1 amended (Government Business Enterprises) Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by omitting the following item

(b) by omitting the following items

Stanley Cool Stores Board

Tasmanian Grain Elevators Board

7Schedule 2 amended (Government Business Enterprises liable to pay tax equivalents) Schedule 2 to the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by omitting the following item

8Schedule 3 amended (Government Business Enterprises liable to pay guarantee fees) Schedule 3 to the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by omitting the following item
