Goulburn Local Environmental Plan 1990 (Amendment No 16)

Goulburn Local Environmental Plan 1990 (Amendment

No 16)

under the

Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979

1      Name of plan

This plan is Goulburn Local Environmental Plan 1990 (Amendment

No 16).

2      Aims of plan

This plan aims:

(a)

to rezone part of the land to which this plan applies from Zone No 2 the Living Area Zone to Zone No 7 the Environmental Protection (Scenic) Zone under Goulburn Local Environmental Plan 1990 (the 1990 plan), and

(b)

to prohibit any form of development on the land referred to in paragraph (a) except for bushfire hazard reduction and noxious weed control, and

(c)

to amend the land use management table in the 1990 plan in respect of the Environmental Protection (Scenic) Zone:

(i)

to include as an objective of the zone the exclusion of any development of land within the zone that contains remnant vegetation and is of conservation significance, and

(ii)

to provide that development consent is not required for development for the purposes of bushfire hazard reduction and noxious weed control.

3      Land to which plan applies

(1)

In respect of the aims set out in clause 2 (a) and (b), this plan applies to Lot 160, DP 821713, Progress Street, Goulburn, as shown edged heavy black on the map marked “Goulburn Local Environmental Plan 1990 (Amendment No 16)” deposited in the office of the Council of the City of Goulburn.

In respect of the aim set out in clause 2 (c), this plan applies to all land within Zone No 7 under the provisions of Goulburn Local Environmental Plan 1990.

4 Amendment of Goulburn Local Environmental Plan 1990

Goulburn Local Environmental Plan 1990 is amended as set out in

Schedule 1.
