AN ACT to amend the Goldfields Water Supply Act Amend-

ment Act, 1911.

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority

of the same, as follows :—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Goldfields Water Supply Short title.

2.    The First Schedule to the Goldfields Water Supply Amendment of let

Act Amendment Act, 1911, is hereby amended by sub- roofdroeilo Act No.

stituting for the words " five pence per acre " the words " one shilling per acre, or, in respect of any particular holding or holdings, at the option of the Board, not ex-

ceeding two shillings in the pound on the unimproved

capital value of the holding, as ascertained by the current valuation of the local authority of the district in which the land is situated, whenever the rate if so levied would be less than one shilling per acre."
