2 Golden Casket (On-line) Amendment (No. 1) No. 246, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This rule may be cited as the Golden Casket (On-line) Amendment Rule (No. 1) 1993 . ˙ Amended rule 2. The Golden Casket (On-line) Rule is amended as set out in this rule. ˙ Replacement of s.1.1 3. Section 1.1— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Short title ‘1.1 This rule may be cited as the Golden Casket (On-line) Rule 1990 . ’. ˙ Omission of ss.1.3, 1.4 4. Sections 1.3 and 1.4— omit. ˙ Amendment of s.1.5 5. Section 1.5(1)— insert— ‘ “gift ticket” means a subscription receipt issued following the lodging of a gift coupon; ’. ˙ Amendment of s.2.2 6. Section 2.2(2)— omit, insert— ‘(2) A prize schedule may include an explanation of how, for example— (a) a prize in the form of a free entry in a future draw lottery can be won; or

3 Golden Casket (On-line) Amendment (No. 1) No. 246, 1993 (b) a prize in the form of a jackpot— (i) is funded; and (ii) can be won. ‘(3) A draw lottery must be given an identifying number. ’. ˙ Amendment of s.9.1 7. Section 9.1— omit all words from ‘ which correspond ’ to ‘ pre-determined and ’, insert ‘ as required for the purposes of the prize schedule for the ’. ˙ Insertion of new s.12.2A 8. After section 12.2— insert— ˙ ‘Only 1 cash prize per draw lottery ticket number ‘12.2A. A draw lottery ticket number may win only 1 cash prize although, depending on the prize schedule, it could also win a prize in the form of a jackpot. ’. ˙ Amendment of s.13.2 9. Section 13.2— insert— ‘(2) However, a prize claim may not be made earlier than the first working day after the drawing of the draw lottery to which the prize claim relates. ’. ˙ Insertion of new s.13.14 10. After section 13.13— insert—

4 Golden Casket (On-line) Amendment (No. 1) No. 246, 1993 ˙ ‘Special provisions relating to gift tickets ‘13.14.(1) Sections 13.10, 13.11 and 13.13 do not apply in relation to gift tickets. ‘(2) If a prize relating to a gift ticket is unclaimed 3 weeks after the drawing of a draw lottery and the gift ticket was bought by a person using a player registration card, the Office must give written notice to the registered player advising that the gift ticket has won a prize. ’. ˙ Amendment of headings 11. The headings mentioned in column 1 of the Schedule are omitted and the headings in column 2 of the Schedule are inserted.
