1885," so far as relates to new Goldfields.

HEREAS it is expedient to amend the Act No. 353 of 1885, Preamble.

1. Every goldfield proclaimed after the passing of this Act under Definition of new

leave such goldfield, be removed therefrom by order of any Warden, and shall further be liable to a penalty of not exceeding Ten Pounds, and in defitult of payment shall be liable to be imprisoned with or without hard labor for any period not exceeding one month.

6, The provisions of this Act shall only apply to that portion of

the province north of the twenty-sixth parallel of south latitude.

This Act and " The Gold Mining Act, 1885," except so far

as inconsistent, shall be incorporated and read together as one Act.
