An Act to continue the Acts for regulating the

Management of the Gold Fields,	[21st
October, 1854.]

WH E R E A S presen t Majesty 's re ign in t i tu led " An Act for regulating the

t h e A c t of Counci l passed in t he s ix teenth year of H e r

" management of the Gold Fields of New South Wales and for raising

" a Revenue therefrom and for the preservation of order therein" and

also t h e A c t passed in t h e seventeen th year of t he said re ign in t i t u l ed

" An Act to amend the Act for regulating	the management	of the Gold
" Fields"	will expire a t t h e end of t h e present year unless con t inued	by

t h e au thor i ty of t h e Governor and Legis la t ive Counci l A n d whereas

i t is expedient t h a t t h e same should be con t inued for a l imi ted per iod Be it therefore enacted by H i s Exce l lency t h e Governor of New Sou th Wales by a n d wi th t h e advice and consent of the Legis la t ive Counci l thereof t h a t t h e said f i rs t-mentioned A c t so far as t h e same does n o t s tand repealed or a l tered by t h e said secondly above-ment ioned A c t and t h e said secondly above-ment ioned A c t shal l con t inue in force

u n t i l t he end of the year one thousand e ight h u n d r e d and fifty-five.
