An Act to authorise the construction of a Tank, Well, and other works, .fbr the purpose of increasing the SuppTy of Water to

HEREAS it is desirable to authorise the construction of a Pwmble.

said district is defined in the Schedule hereto: And whereas plans and sections showing the source of supply and the said tank, well, and other works, and the direction of the main and branch pipes, and the streets and grounds through which they are to be laid, and also books of reference containing the names ~f the owners and occupiers, or reputed owners or occupiers (so far as known), of any private lands on which the said tank, well, or other works will be constructed, or through which the same will pass, have been

Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council

and 13ouse of Assembly of the said province, in this present Parlia-

ment assembled, as follows:

1. The Commissioner of Waterworks may construct, out of any Commissioner of

or occupier~, or reputed owners or occupiers, of any lands or streams delineated or shown on the said plans or sections, described in the books of reference deposited as aforesaid, the Commissioner of Waterworks, after giving ten daysy notice to

the owners or occupiers, or reputed owners or occupiers, of the

lands and streams affected or likely to be affected by the correction of such error, omissioq misstatement, or wrong description, may apply to two justices to correct the same; and, if it shall appear to such justices that it is expedient and not unjust to correct such error, omission, misstatement, or wrong description, they shall give the

said Commissioner a certificate in such form as they shall think

proper, and shall in such certificate state the particulars of any such error, omission, misstatement, or wrong description; and such certifi- cate, with the documents to which it refers, shall be deposited with the other documents to which they refer, in the office of the Surveyor-General, and thereupon such plans, sections, or books of reference shall be deemed to be corrected according to such cedficute, and the said Commissioner may make, complete, extend, and, maintain the works hereby authorised, in accordauce with such certificate, as if such error, omission, misstatement, or wrong description had not been made,

Interpretation, 4. In the construction of, and for the purposes of this Act and The Adelaide City, Port, and Suburban Waterworks Act, 1874,"

when not inconsistent with the context, the expression, the G under- taking" shall, in addition to the meaning assigned thereto by the said " Thc Adelaide City, Port, and Suburban Waterworks Act, 1874," mean and includc the well, tank, and other works hereby authorised to be constructed; the expression lands and streams " shall, in addition to the meaning assigned thereto by the said Act, mean and include the land and streams of water hereby

. authorised to be taken or used for the purposes hereof, and the expression water area " shall, in addition to the meaning assigned thereto by the said Act, mean and include the district of Glenelg, according as the same is defined in the schedule hereto.

Inaorporation

6. Except so far as the same is inconsistent with or altered by

this Act, this Act and '"'rhe Adelaide City, Port, and Suburban

Waterworks Act," shall be incorporated and read as one Act,

All that portion of the Hundred of Noarlunga, situated to the north and west oi the followine: boundary :--Commencing a t the intersection of the enuthern boundary of section No. 79, with the median line of the river Sturt; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of sections Nos. 79, 119, and 142; thence crossing the road there to the eaetern boundary of section No. 182; thence southerly to the south- eastern corner of the said section; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of sections Nos. 182, 205, and crossing the road there to the eastern boundary of sec-
