2 Gladstone Port Authority Amendment (No. 1) No. 422, 1992 ˙ Short title 1. This by-law may be cited as the Gladstone Port Authority Amendment By-law (No. 1) 1992 . ˙ Amended by-law 2. The Gladstone Harbour Board By-law published in the Gazette on 6 July 1985 at pages 1645 to 1660 is amended as set out in this by-law. ˙ Replacement of s.1.3 (Short title) 3. Section 1.3— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Short title ‘1.3. This by-law may be cited as the Gladstone Port Authority By-law 1985 . ’. ˙ Amendment of s.2.1 4. Section 2.1— insert— ‘ “GRT” means gross registered tonnage; ’. ˙ Replacement of Schedules “A”, “B” and “C” in By-law No. 7 5. Schedules “A”, “B” and “C” in By-law No. 7— omit, insert—

The tonnage rates for a vessel berthed at Clinton Berths 1 and 2 are as follows— (a) in the case of a vessel of less than 40 000 GRT—16.12 cents per ton; (b) in the case of a vessel of 40 000 GRT or more but less than 80 000 GRT—22.68 cents per ton; (c) in the case of a vessel of 80 000 GRT or more—26.26 cents per ton. 2. The tonnage rates for a vessel berthed at any other berth are as follows— (a) in the case of a vessel of not more than 200 GRT—$25.58 per day (or part of a day); (b) in the case of a vessel of more than 200 GRT but not more than 800 GRT—$59.14 per day (or part of a day); (c) in the case of a vessel of more than 800 GRT— (i) on the first day—14.95 cents per ton; and (ii) on the second day—7.49 cents per ton; and (iii) after the second day—4.07 cents per ton. 3. The following rebate applies for partly loaded vessels at Clinton Berths 1 and 2— (a) in the case of a vessel of 40 000 GRT or more but less than 80 000 GRT with a loading less than 65 000 t—7.16 cents per ton; (b) in the case of a vessel of 80 000 GRT or more with a loading of less than 65 000 t—10.74 cents per ton;
