No. 23 of 1922.

AN ACT to enable Victoria Location 1229 to be granted in fee simple to the Trustees of the Victoria District Turf Club in lieu of an existing lease, with power to sell, subject to the proceeds being applied to the im- provement of Reserves A 18098 and A 16855, and to authorise a lease of portion of Reserve A 16855 to the said Trustees.

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:-

1. This Act may be cited as the Geraldton Racecourse Act, Short utio.

Power to grant

Victoria Location	2.	(1.) Victoria Location 1229, as now held under lease
1229 to Trustees,

with right to sell °	to the Trustees of the Victoria Turf Club for a term of 999
and apply proceeds
to the improvement	years, is hereby revested in His Majesty as of his former
of Reserves A16098
and A16855.	estate; and it shall be lawful for the Governor, in the name and on behalf of His Majesty, to grant the said land to the Trustees of the Victoria District Turf Club for an estate in fee simple.
(2.) The grantees may, with the approval of the Gover- nor, sell the land to be so granted for an estate in fee simple, subject to the proceeds of sale being applied, to the satisfac- tion of the Minister for Lands, to the improvement of Re- serves +18098 and +16855.

The Victoria District Agricultural Society may, with the approval of the Governor, lease portion of Reserve + 16885 to the Trustees of the Victoria District Turf Club for a term not exceeding fifty years, and under and subject to such conditions as the Governor may think fit.
