GERALDTON PORT AUTHORITY AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1994
Made by the Geraldton Port Authority and approved by His Excellency the Governor in
Executive Council.
Citation
1. These regulations may be cited as the Geraldton Port Authority AmendmentRegulations 1994.
Commencement
2. These regulations come into operation on 15 June 1994.
Principal Regulations
3. In these regulations the Gera&ton Port Authority Regulations 1969* are referred toas the principal regulations.

Regulation 1 amended
4. Regulation 1 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting the definition of"pilot" and substituting the following definition-
" "pilot" means a person approved by the Port Authority under section 16 (1)

Part III amended
5. Part III of the principal regulations is amended in the heading to Division 5 bydeleting "dues".
Regulations 67C, 671) and 67E inserted
6. After regulation 67B of the principal regulations the following regulations areinserted-
" Ports (Model Pilotage) Regulations 1994 adopted
67C. The Ports (Model Pilotage) Regulations 1994, as amended from time to time, are adopted by the Port Authority in accordance with section 36 (5) of the Ports (Functions) Art 1993.

67E. A pilotage exemption certificate issued under the Ports and Harbours Regulations that was valid in respect of the Port immediately before 15 June 1994 shall be taken to be, on and after that date, a pilotage exemption certificate issued in respect of the Port under the adopted regulations referred to in regulation 67C and shall lapse, and may be revalidated, renewed or cancelled, in accordance with those regulations.
