Act No. 68,1972.
| An Act to provide for the appropriation of a certain sum out of the General Loan Account and for the application of part of that sum for certain Public Works and Services and for the transfer of part of that sum to the Opera House Account in the Special Deposits Account as a temporary repayable advance in terms of section four of the Sydney Opera House Act, 1960; and for purposes connected therewith. YI7HEREAS the Australian Loan Council at its one-hundred *" and second meeting held on the twenty-second day of June, one thousand nine hundred and seventy-two, decided in pursuance of Clause 3 (9) of Part I of the Agreement set out in the schedule to the Financial Agreement Act, 1944, that the amount to be borrowed for the loan programmes of the Commonwealth and the States for housing and State works for the financial year ending on the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and seventy-three, shall be nine hundred and eighty-two million dollars, and by unanimous decision allocated an amount of three hundred and twelve million three hundred and thirty-six thousand dollars to the State of New South Wales, BE it enacted therefore by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:—
1. This Act may be cited as the "General Loan Account Appropriation Act, 1972".
2. The sum of three hundred and ninety-five million seven hundred and seventy-six thousand dollars is hereby appropriated from the General Loan Account for the public works and services hereunder set out, and shall, as required, be applied as follows:—-
