WHEREAS the Australian Loan Council at its ninety-eighth nine hundred and seventy, decided in pursuance of Clause 3 (9) of meeting held on the twenty-sixth day of June, one thousand Part I of the Agreement set out in the schedule to the Financial Agreement
of p a r t of t h a t s u m t o the Conso l ida t ed Revenue
F u n d in r educ t i on of p a r t of t he accumula t ed
deficit in t h a t F u n d ; a n d for p u r p o s e s connec ted
therewi th . [Assented t o , 16th N o v e m b e r , 1970.]

Agreement Act, 1944, that the amount to be borrowed for the loan programmes of the Commonwealth and the States for housing and State works for the financial year ending on the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and seventy-one, shall be eight hundred and twenty-three million dollars, and by unanimous decision allocated an amount of two hundred and ten million five hundred and ten thousand dollars to the State of New South Wales, BE it enacted therefore by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the "General Loan Account Appropriation Act, 1970".
