GENERAL LOAN ACCOUNT APPROPRIATION

ACT.

Act No. 32, 1950.

An Act to provide for the appropriation of a certain sum out of the General Loan Account and for the application of that sum for certain Public Works and Services; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 27th October, 1950.]

September, one thousand nine hundred and fifty, WHEREAS the Australian Loan Council at its sixty-fourth meeting held on the seventh day of

decided in pursuance of Clause 3 (9) of Par t I of the Agreement set out in the schedule to the Financial Agreement Act, 1944, tha t the amount to be borrowed for the loan programmes of the Commonwealth and the States for the financial year ending on the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifty one,

shall be one hundred and seventy-five million four hundred and nine thousand pounds, and by unanimous decision allocated an amount of forty-two million five hundred and seventy-four thousand pounds to the State of New South Wales, BE it enacted therefore by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parlia­ ment assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows :—

1 . This Act may be cited as the " General Loans Account Appropriation Act, 1950."

2 . The sum of forty-five million six hundred and forty thousand pounds is hereby appropriated from the General Loan Account for the Public works and services hereunder set out, and shall, as required be applied as follows :—
