GENERAL LOAN ACCOUNT APPROPRIATION ACT.

Act No. 38, 1949.

An Act to provide for the appropriation of a certain sum out of the General Loan Account and for the application of that sum for certain Public Works and Services; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 12th November, 1949.]

of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, WHEEEAS the Australian Loan Council at its sixty-third meeting held on the seventeenth day

decided in pursuance of Clause 3 (9) of Part I of the Agreement set out in the schedule to the Financial Agreement Act, 1944, that the amount to be borrowed for the loan programmes of the Commonwealth and the States for the financial year ending on the thirtieth •day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifty, shall

be

be seventy-nine million three hundred and fourteen thousand pounds, and by unanimous decision allocated a n amount of twenty-seven million one hundred and seventy- seven thousand pounds to the State of New South Wales, B E i t enacted therefore by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of t he Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Par l iament assembled, and by t h e author i ty of the same as follows :—
